Well this is the final issue of the Iqraa for this semester. I would like to thank all those that submitted articles etc. for their contributions which are highly appreciated.
So what's in this final Issue of the semester?
Well, don't miss the following articles as they are enlightening, thought provoking and also very relevant to us as MUSLIM students.
1) Islam and the concept of Friendship :
An informative article about the friends we keep and their impact on our live as Muslims and in obeying the Commandments of Allah.
2) Kindness to Parents:
This article deals with the DEBT that we owe to our parents and how we should strive to fulfilling our duties towards them.
3) Dissolve UCT Islamic Society:
This a very interesting article from one of my fellow STEC members. This article, is for all those people who say the IS does NOTHING, raises some key issues about the STEC and the IS. The writer would like to hear your comments and opinions of this article, so go ahead read it and let him know what you have to say.
4) Rejection of Reward:
This article is also very enlightening with regards to certain of our habits and practises and focuses mainly on our PRIDE and ARROGANCE.
5)The most influential man in history: MUHAMMED (S.A.W.)
Read what prominent, NON-MUSLIM scholars have to say about Nabi (S.A.W.)
6) Events that are Hot & Hapenning!
Read all about the upcoming annual ONE-TO-ONE that will take place at the Goodhope Centre.
7) Sports Day Reportback:
Last but not least read all about the extremely successful and entertaining Sports Day held by the IS.
